SODOMITES AND SODOMETTES

God is abandoning us because we first abandoned Him.

Proverbs 1:24
24. Because I have called and you refused, I have stretched out my hand and no one regarded,
25. because you disdained all my counsel, and would have none of my reproof,
26. I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your terror comes,
27. when your terror comes like a storm, and your destruction comes like a whirlwind, when distress and anguish come upon you.
28. "Then they will call on me, but I will not answer; they will seek me diligently, but they will not find me.

When we, as a society or as individuals, reject God’s word, we invite God’s wrath. There are five kinds of wrath.

***** Eternal Wrath is the wrath of the fires of Hell.

***** Eschatological Wrath is the wrath of the last days.

***** Cataclysmic Wrath is the wrath of floods, hurricanes, earthquakes, etc.

***** Consequential Wrath is the wrath associated with sowing and reaping. If you are a drunkard all your life, you may die of cirrhosis of the liver. If you live in sexual sin, you may die of AIDS or other sexually transmitted diseases. Elections have consequences too and if you elect someone who supports abortion or acts of perversion, you sow God’s wrath against yourself and your society. Even though they are not elected, presidential appointees such as Supreme Court justices and federal judges can also issue rulings that contradict God’s clear instructions.

Galatians 6:7
7. Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.

***** Abandonment Wrath is that judicial act of God whereby He finally lets an unbelieving sinner or a society go. When God finally turns His back on a society, He stops convicting of sin … He stops calling for repentance. There comes a point when God says, "That's it … that’s enough, I'm letting you go."

Genesis 6:3
3. And the Lord said, "My Spirit shall not strive with man forever,

When sodomy happens on a societal level, when a society affirms it, when it becomes normal in a society, it is evidence that God is turning that society over. First, they sink into sexual sin, fornication and adultery, and then they plunge deeper into sins of perversion. Finally, God gives them over to a debased and reprobate mind and their conscience no longer inhibits them from sinking all the way into total depravity.

God hates the sin of sodomy because of its baseness and perverseness but, at the same time, it is a sin like any other sin and we have to call that sinner to repentance and offer him the grace and forgiveness of God. While God may be abandoning us as a society, He is still saving individuals who respond to the gospel. When God finally gives them up or gives them over, He is done with them forever.

Romans 1:20
20. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse,
21. because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.
22. Professing to be wise, they became fools,
24. Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves,
26. For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature.
27. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due. (AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases)
28. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting;
29. being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness;
32. who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.

God’s divine plan is that one man is to be joined to one woman and become one flesh.

Genesis 2:21
21. And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam, and he slept; and He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place.
22. Then the rib which the Lord God had taken from man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man.
23. And Adam said: "This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.''
24. Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.

Sexual sin does not exist in the marriage bed. Married couples are free to do as they please, in any way that they please. Sodomites and sodomettes want to be able to marry so they can claim that their sexual acts have the approval of the Lord.

Hebrews 13:4
4. Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled (Greek - amiantos - pure) but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.

When God’s divine plan is perverted, man brings judgment upon himself. Finally, God will give him over to a debased mind to commit unspeakable acts against himself and against nature. Deaths from disease and suicide are the caboose on this long train of depravity. Regardless of what the reprobate say, sodomites and sodomettes aren’t gay, they’re perverts.

Leviticus 18:22
22. You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination.
23. Nor shall you mate with any beast, to defile yourself with it. Nor shall any woman stand before a beast to mate with it. It is perversion.

Leviticus 20:13
13. `If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them.
15. `If a man mates with a beast, he shall surely be put to death, and you shall kill the beast.
16. `If a woman approaches any beast and mates with it, you shall kill the woman and the beast. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood is upon them.

The Church of Jesus Christ is full of ex-fornicators, ex-idolaters, ex adulterers, ex-homosexuals, ex-sodomites, ex-thieves, ex-liars, ex-drunkards, ex-drug addicts, etc. When writing to the Christians in Corinth, the Apostle Paul used the phrase “and such were some of you” to teach that all sinners, including homosexuals and sodomites, could be transformed and redeemed.

1 Corinthians 6:11
11. And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.

You must be willing to turn from your sin, turn toward the Lord, and He will save you and help you become obedient to Him. All of us are sinners to one degree or another. All of us have a daily battle with the temptation to sin. Some people have an irresistible desire to steal things. Psychiatrists call these people “kleptomaniacs” but the Lord still requires that they quit stealing. Some people have an addiction to alcohol or drugs and, in order to quit, sometimes they have to be hospitalized and endure terrible withdrawal symptoms but the Lord still requires that they turn from their sin and say no to their addiction. No one is able to genetically change the color of his skin but every year thousands of homosexuals and sodomites change their behavior and turn from a life of perversion to following Christ. Sodomites, sodomettes, and child molesters have to learn to say no to their sin just like everyone else. When you say no to sin, any sin, and keep saying no without giving in to the temptation, you build up spiritual muscle and the temptation to sin becomes less and less.

1 Corinthians 6:9
9. Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators (Greek - pornos - general sexual sin), nor idolaters, nor adulterers (Greek - moichos - sexual intercourse between a married man and someone other than his wife), nor homosexuals (Greek - malakos -effeminate, a male prostitute, a soft one, a boy or an adult male), nor sodomites (Greek - arsenokoites - abusers who defile themselves with mankind, a male who has sex with an effeminate male),
10. nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.
11. And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.
18. Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.

1 Timothy 1:9
9. knowing this: that the law is not made for a righteous person, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and for sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,
10. for fornicators, for sodomites, for kidnappers, for liars, for perjurers, and if there is any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine,

2 Peter 2:6
6. and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, condemned them to destruction, making them an example to those who afterward would live ungodly;
7. and delivered righteous Lot, who was oppressed with the filthy (Greek - aselgeia - unbridled lust, lascivious) conduct of the wicked

Jude 1:7
7. as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, having given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

There is an ongoing war of words and the sodomites and sodomettes are trying to control the language. Whenever we start using the nice sounding words that the sodomites and sodomettes use, such as gay, bisexual, and transgender, we may win some battles but we will confuse the ignorant and, in the end, possibly lose the war.

There is nothing gay or joyful about being a pervert. Even the word homosexual is too clinical. I prefer to use the biblical term of sodomite, which is more descriptive. When someone is given over to acts of perversion, it is usually only the tip of the iceberg and, just like an iceberg, other unspeakable acts are unseen but are just below the surface. Some sodomites and sodomettes are so proud of their depravity that they form organizations so they can get together and share ways to improve their perversion. The North American Man/Boy Love Association (NAMBLA) is just one illustration of the depth of depravity to which a pervert can sink. Normal men and women should not be forced to work with, eat with, live with, sleep with, or have their privacy violated by showering with a pervert, especially in the military where their lives depend on the performance of others.

Can God bless America? God is no longer blessing America as He once did. God is removing His hand of blessing from America because our leaders will not execute murders and convicted perverts. There should be no life sentences or “death row.” Justice delayed is justice denied. One of the ways that the Lord can punish a nation is to have that nation destroyed by another nation. Another way to punish a nation is to spiritually blind the people of that nation so that they elect bad leaders for themselves … it’s the moral equivalent of you shooting yourself in your foot. This is a perfect example of Consequential Wrath … the wrath of sowing and reaping. That explains why we were saddled with a president like Bill Clinton who is a serial adulterer, an impeached and disbarred perjurer, and a baby killer. In actuality, we didn't deserve someone as good as Bill Clinton. We deserved someone much worse.

Because our society has continued to condone the killing of babies and acts of perversion, God has seen fit to punish America even further with the election of an inexperienced, unqualified, pro-abortion, pro-homosexual, and pro-Marxism executive named Barack Obama in addition to the rest of the adulterers, perverts, liars, and thieves in congress. Before he was elected president, Barack Obama voted to allow sodomites and sodomettes to marry and voted four times against the “Born Alive Infant Protection Act.” Babies who were to have been aborted, but were still alive when delivered, should have been protected. Instead, the doctors and nurses did not provide care for those newborn little people but took them into a dirty laundry room where they were left alone to die without any further medical help. Videotape exists showing a doctor strangling a baby. Barack Obama is so radical that he believes in killing babies after they have been born … this is infanticide, pure and simple. Just like Bill Clinton, Barack Obama also voted numerous times to allow “Partial-Birth Abortion” killings to continue.

Is it still possible to reverse our punishment? Maybe … it all depends on the sincerity of our repentance. Only a very Merciful God could forgive us long after He should have permanently turned His back on us. Make sure that you don’t confuse mercy with weakness.

2 Chronicles 7:14
14. "if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
